One serum, built for Australian conditions

Kessine makes a single product: a 30ml vitamin C serum formulated around three Australian native botanicals. Kakadu Plum, Davidson Plum and Rosella all grow in some of the most sun-exposed country on earth, and all three are rich in antioxidants. The formula was built around them rather than adding them to something generic afterwards.

A stable form of vitamin C

The active is Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a stable derivative of vitamin C. Pure L-Ascorbic Acid is the better known form, but it oxidises quickly once it meets air and light, which is why so many serums turn yellow or brown on the shelf. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate does not oxidise the same way, so the serum stays clear and pale for longer. It is also the gentler of the two forms, which matters if your skin reacts easily.

Fragrance-free, with the full ingredient list published

The serum is fragrance-free, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. The complete INCI ingredient list is published in full on the product page, not summarised or paraphrased. If you check a specific ingredient before buying, you can read the entire formula first rather than asking for it.

Made in Australia

Kessine is made in Australia by Eagle Reborn PTY LTD, ABN 68 695 496 970. The serum is blended and filled here, and the native botanicals it is built around are Australian.

How to use it

Apply 2-3 drops to clean skin morning and evening, then follow with moisturiser, and with sunscreen during the day. Patch test before first use. This is not a sunscreen and it is not a substitute for one. Nothing replaces proper sun protection, and sunscreen does that job.
