What is Kakadu Plum?
Kakadu Plum is an Australian native fruit that grows in one of the harshest climates on earth. It is rich in antioxidants and is one of the key botanicals in our serum, alongside Davidson Plum and Rosella.
What does Kessine make?
Three products: Kakadu Plum Vitamin C Serum (30ml), Anti-Ageing Peptide Serum (30ml) and Under Eye Cream with Kakadu Plum and Quandong (15ml). They are made to layer together.
Are Kessine products fragrance-free?
Yes. The vitamin C serum, the peptide serum and the under eye cream are all fragrance-free.
Are they made in Australia?
Yes. Every Kessine product is made in Australia.
Are they vegan and cruelty-free?
Both serums are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. For the under eye cream, see its product page.
What order do I apply them in?
Thinnest to thickest, on clean skin: the vitamin C serum, then the peptide serum, then a rice-grain amount of under eye cream pressed around the eye. Finish with moisturiser, and sunscreen during the day.
Does the under eye cream contain retinol?
No. The under eye cream is made with Kakadu Plum and Quandong and contains no retinol.
How do I use vitamin C serum?
Apply 2-3 drops of Kessine vitamin C serum to clean skin morning and evening. Follow with moisturiser, and with sunscreen during the day. A little goes a long way, so a few drops is enough to cover the face.
Is Kessine suitable for sensitive skin?
Every Kessine product is fragrance-free, and the vitamin C serum uses a stable form of vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate). If you have specific skin concerns, patch test first or check with your health professional.
