Who we are

Kessine is operated by Eagle Reborn PTY LTD T/A Kessine, ABN 68 695 496 970, based in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, and we send marketing email in line with the Spam Act 2003.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the founding list and this website:

• The email address you submit when you join the founding list.
• A record of your consent, meaning the time you signed up and the IP address the signup came from.
• Basic technical data that any web server records, such as browser type and pages visited.

We do not ask for, and do not want, any sensitive information.

Why we collect it

We use your email address to send you the emails you asked for when you joined the founding list. Under the Spam Act 2003 we only email people who have consented, every email identifies us as the sender, and every email contains a working unsubscribe link. The consent record exists so we can show that you agreed to receive email from us.

Email service provider

Our email list is processed on our behalf by Omnisend, an email service provider. Omnisend stores the list securely and uses it only to deliver our emails. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

Analytics and advertising tags on this site load only after you give consent through the cookie banner. If you decline, those tags stay off and no analytics or advertising cookies are set. Essential cookies needed for the site to function may still be used.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email us at privacy@kessine.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. Every marketing email we send also contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at privacy@kessine.com.au so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
